So, how did our story begin?

Our founder, Matin Hanifzadeh, spent over a decade developing and scaling first of a kind industrial systems. While these technologies were technically advanced, deploying them in real industrial settings revealed a deeper challenge. Many systems were complex, capital intensive, and difficult to scale efficiently. The science worked, but the architecture often made them expensive and hard to adopt.

Through this experience, a clear insight emerged. Economic growth does not have to come at the expense of social and environmental responsibility. But achieving both requires discipline in design. Many industrial processes had evolved toward greater complexity, driving higher CapEx, higher OpEx, and greater environmental burden.

This realization led to the birth of Rushnu: a vision to redesign chemical manufacturing so prosperity and responsibility move together. By simplifying system architecture and building modular, capital light solutions, Rushnu aims to create technologies that are practical, scalable, and aligned with long term impact—supporting progress without compromise.
